3 Things

Three things in life that, once gone, never come back -

1. Time
2. Words
3. Opportunity

Three things in life that can destroy a person -

1. Anger
2. Pride
3. Unforgiveness

Three things in life that you should never lose-

1. Hope
2. Peace
3. Honesty

Three things in life that are most valuable -

1. Love
2. Family & Friends
3. Kindness

Three things in life that are never certain -

1. Fortune
2. Success
3. Dreams

Three things that make a person -

1. Commitment
2. Sincerity
3. Hard work

Someone emailed me this list, I like it, but I of course have to add my own:

Three things required to build any type of relationship (they all go hand in hand and are the small steps that cumatively add up the expression of the big three words: I LOVE YOU, INMSHO!):
1. Honesty
2. Trust
3. Respect

A new word for my toolbox...

Denigration, I first heard this word today, as I was in search of a word to describe the way I was treated one afternoon last week. I can't share the details, but the scenario truly took a toll on my self confidence. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I am going through a MAJOR life change right now. I think I can handle it, but this sure didn't help...

DENIGRATION:
1. to speak damagingly of; criticize in a derogatory manner; sully; defame: to denigrate someone's character.
2. to treat or represent as lacking in value or importance; belittle; disparage: to denigrate someone's contributions to a project.

Recent Writings...

Just so you know I have been writing while being excruiciatinly busy, here are two of my most recent...

Writer’s Block

Pen to paper causes a block
Like my mind is locked
My heart weakens as it weeps
My brain runs constantly, no sleep

From where comes this array of emotion
Why do we just go through life’s motions?
The world around us has become un-personable
It’s as if loving one another isn’t plausible

I want to envelope myself in love
Not just the love I’m full of
But the love of others that I truly fear
Love not yet seen but so very near

Change is coming I feel the peace settling in
My passion, the strongest fire burning within
I’m taking away everyone else’s power over me
I’m the one in control, well me & J.C.

Speaking of the man of the hour
Why is all about religion or political power
We need to wake up and worry about morals and values
Making a difference starts at how with individual truths

Acceptance and gratitude solve most of our problematic weight
Resentment and judgment is the core of the mental and emotional waste
Resolve to move forward, cleanse your soul with random acts of kindness
Relieve your tunnel vision with a daily thought provoking open mindedness

The dam has burst, my block is over come
My mind unlocked with words so awesome
My heart lifted, singing a new score
My brain may actually sleep once more

On my usual 10:00 am United Flight…

Hay Field

Hesitation, Dictation, Salvation, Elation
Fields of emotion endlessly swaying
Like a field of hay on a windy day
My head is spinning crazily

I can’t settle down constantly going
A candle flaming at both ends
I have lost all sense of relaxation
No end to this madness in sight

Riding the train on a collision course
Hoping to get off before it derails
Maybe on the ocean with open sails
A beacon of light saving me

There are more from the last two months as well, but I am not ready to reveal them just yet.
I will post some ramblings tomorrow, but for now - Take Care of You!

ALLLLLLLLLL ABOOOOOOOOOOAAAARRRRRRDDDD!!!

So I have been slamming & jamming in class and haven't had time to dedicate to myself let alone blogging or anything else. So here is a little note for my friends.....................

I know where i'm goin'
Don't you want to come too?
I got my reservations
And i got one for you
The train's leavin' just after dark
There's always room for a lovin' heart
I know where i'm goin'
Don't you wanna come too?
I know my destinationIt's a' waiting for you
I got no hesitation
That's where i want to be
And by the time that the sun comes up
I'll be drinkin' from a lovin' cup
I know where i'm goin'
Don't you want to come too?
Don't you wanna come?
Don't you wanna ride?
Don't you wanna be there by my side?
Hand in hand
Holding on to
The sweet salvation
That's waiting for me and you
I know why i'm singin'
Don't you want to sing too?
Can't you hear the bells a ringin'?
Let the spirit move you
Just close your eyes and let it flow
Lean your head back, let it go
I know where i'm goin'
Don't you wanna come too?

All I can say friends is CATCH ME IF YOU CAN....

I am on the fast track, and hopefully with a ton of your support. Soon we'll all be together. I am going to throw a HUGE party to celebrate my dream job, and you'll all be invited!

In addition to my merit...

My horoscope speaks again:
Double- and triple-booking your social and work calendar leaves everyone feeling ever-so-slightly cheated -- and that includes yourself. 'Quality time' doesn't have to be another cliche. Let yourself linger.

Merit

Though it has been a while since I posted something of merit, I feel the need to post this here. I watch a show on Bravo called workout, and one of the characters passed away this season. Listening to his co-workers talk about him reminded me of the basic values I try to incorporate in my daily life. I have been rather busy in my class, and haven't been taking time out for me. It is starting to get to me, so here is my little reminder to do that.

Doug's Principles

Just for today do not worry!

Just for today do not anger!

Honor your parents, teachers, and elders!

Earn your living honestly!

Show gratitude to all living things!

My addition:
Remember to live for today, because tomorrow may never come!

Take Care of You,

KC
